Inclusions of Bajaj Allianz Silver Health Plan

The plan provides the following coverage benefits:

  • Covers hospitalization expenses
  • Pre and post hospitalization expenses equal to 3% of permissible hospitalization expenses
  • Ambulance charges up to Rs. 1000 per claim
  • Pre-existing diseases to be covered from the second year. Up to 50% of the sum assured amount will be reimbursed
  • 130 daycare procedures are covered
  • After 4 years of policy period free health-checkups in designated diagnostic centers- including ECG, fasting glucose test, physician consultation, lab tests, blood glucose test, cholesterol, chest X-ray and complete blood count

Exclusions of Bajaj Allianz Silver Health Plan

Your claim will be rejected under the following circumstances:

  • Joint replacement surgeries before completion of 4 years of the policy period
  • Any kind of self-inflicted injuries will not be covered
  • Hospitalization required for childbirth and pregnancy-related complications
  • Treatment for AIDS, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Venereal disease and any kind of STDs.
  • Vaccination expenses unless required for bite treatment
  • Cost of vitamins, supplements, and tonics unless required as part of the treatment
  • Non-allopathic treatment or any experimental treatment
  • Treatment required for mental illness and psychological disorders
  • Weight reduction programs
  • Congenital diseases
  • Dental surgeries unless it requires hospitalization

Sum Assured Options:

The sum insured options are as follows: Rs 50,000, Rs  1 lakh, Rs 1.5 lakhs,  Rs 2lakhs, Rs 3lakhs, Rs 4lakhs & Rs 5lakhs.

  • Endometriosis
  • Cataracts
  • Surgery for duodenal or gastric ulcers
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Benign prostatic hypertrophy
  • Uterine bleeding
  • Hydrocele
  • Hernia
  • Treatment for Stones in the biliary systems and urinary tract
  • Prolapse of intra-abdominal organs
  • Ear surgeries
  • Hysterectomy
  • Anal Fissures
  • Prolapsed intervertebral discs
  • Fistulae
  • Fibromyoma
  • Skin surgeries, internal tumors or cysts
  • Benign tumors
  • Joint Surgeries

 Pre-medical Tests

  • It is mandatory to undergo pre-medical tests before purchasing the plan
  • All the pre-medical check-up will be carried out at their network diagnostic centers.
  • 100% reimbursement of the standard medical tests, subjected to the acceptance of policy proposal and issuance.
  • Test reports will be valid for 30 days from the date of examination

List of the pre-medical tests that are required- Full Medical report, ECG, Lipid Profile, Complete Blood Count, Fasting Blood Sugar, HbA1c, Serum Creatinine, SGOT, SGPT, GGTP and Urine Routine
