    Overview

    The Oriental Happy Cash policy provides a fixed daily hospital cash benefit to the insured for a maximum of 30 or 60 days of hospitalization per illness. It also provides a fixed lump sum amount as a convalescence benefit in case the total days of hospitalization goes beyond the opted number of hospital cash days i.e. 30/60 days.

    Moreover, if the insured is a female, she will get an additional 25% daily cash benefit at no additional costs. For example, if the insured woman has opted for a hospital cash amount of Rs 1000 per day, she will get 25% extra daily cash benefit i.e.Rs 1250 per day.

    The Oriental Hospital Cash policy offers a hospital cash amount of Rs 500/1000/2000/3000 per day as chosen by the policyholder. It also comes with an optional deductible of 1 day and 2 days, which can be chosen by the policyholder. However, opting for a deductible is not mandatory under the policy.

    • Treatment taken outside India
    • Cosmetic surgery or plastic surgery
    • Pregnancy and related expenses
    • Claims arising due to substance abuse
    • Stem cell therapy
    • Self-inflicted injuries
    • Cosmetic dental surgeries
    • Sex change surgery
