    Aditya Birla Arogya Sanjeevani policy offers the following features and benefits to the insured:

    • Once you get admitted to a network hospital you can avail cashless treatment in the network hospitals
    • Aditya Birla Arogya Sanjeevani policy provides a 5% increase in the sum insured for every claim-free year
    • The policy tenure option is 1-year on both individual and family floater basis
    • Any treatment can be availed after the completion of 30-days of the waiting period
    • Pre-existing diseases are covered after a waiting period of 48-months
    • There is compulsory co-payment of 5%
    • Specific illnesses like hernia, cataract are claimable after a waiting period of 24-months

    Inclusions of Aditya Birla Arogya Sanjeevani Policy

    Aditya Birla Arogya Sanjeevani policy covers the following expenses during the policy term:

    • The insured can file claim for Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Intensive Critical Care Unit (ICCU) expenses. The limit is up to Rs 10,000 or 5% of the sum insured per day
    • Cataract treatment coverage limit is 25% of the sum insured or a maximum of Rs 40,000
    • In-patient Ayush treatment expenses under Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Naturopathy, Yoga, and Siddha are payable up to the sum insured limit
    • Aditya Birla Arogya Sanjeevani policy also includes room rent and nursing charges up to Rs 5000 or a maximum of 2% of the sum insured
    • You can also file a claim for p30 days of pre-hospitalization expenses and 60 days of post-hospitalization expenses
    • This Arogya Sanjeevani health insurance plan covers all the daycare procedures

    Exclusions of Aditya Birla Arogya Sanjeevani Policy

    During the policy tenure following claims are not permissible under the Arogya Sanjeevani health policy:

    • Any health emergency resulting due to war,  the act of a foreign enemy, revolution, and similar acts shall be excluded from claims
    • The policy covers  the expenses incurred OPD charges and domiciliary or home treatment
    • Treatment for drugs, alcoholism, and substance abuse are excluded as well
    • Treatments received in spas, nature cure clinics, or similar establishments are not covered
    • Any treatment that is received outside the geographical limits of India cannot be claimed under the Arogya Sanjeevani medical insurance policy
