    Top up and super top up plans can be availed as an add-on benefit with the basic health insurance coverage. These policies come in when the basic cover is exhausted during a medical emergency. Bajaj Allianz Extra Care Plus Super Top-up plan provides sum insured cover from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. And Bajaj Allianz Extra Care Top-up plan provides coverage from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.

    Types of Bajaj Allianz Top up and Super Top-up Plans

    The two types of Bajaj Allianz top-up and Super top-up health insurance plans are given below:

    • Bajaj Allianz Extra Care Plus Super Top-up Plan- The super top plan provides extra coverage with sum insured options Rs 3/5/10/15/20/25/50 lakh. One can opt for deductibles ranging from Rs 3 lakh-10 lakh.
    • Bajaj Allianz Extra Care Top-up Floater Plan- Bajaj Allianz Extra Care is a top-up plan that provides coverage on a family floater basis. The policyholder can add six members to the floater plan for sum insured ranging from Rs 10 lakh, Rs 12 lakh, and Rs 15 lakh.

    • Bajaj Allianz top up plans and super top-up plans offer a range of options for the Sum Insured and deductibles to choose from
    • No pre-medical tests required up to 55 years of age
    • Coverage for any pre-existing illnesses after 12 months from the inception of the Extra Care Plus policy
    • Covers inpatient, pre-hospitalization, and post-hospitalization cover
    • Additional covers such as road ambulance cover and air ambulance cover in times of emergency
    • Covers maternity expenses, including complications at the time of childbirth, as per conditions
    • Bajaj Allianz health claim-settlement ratio is and all the claims are settled mostly within 48 hours

    Inclusions of the Bajaj Allianz Extra Care Top-up Floater Plan 

    Bajaj Allianz health top-up policy covers the following medical expenses:

    • Fees of medical practitioners such as doctors, surgeons, and nurses are covered
    • Rental expenses, ICU, & OT charges, etc. are covered
    • Expenses related to modern treatment methods such as robotics surgery, stem cell therapy, oral chemotherapy, etc.
    • Medical costs related to pregnancy and childbirth are claimable as well
    • It also covers organ donor expenses
    • Moreover, optional air ambulance cover is also provided

    Inclusions of the Bajaj Allianz Extra Care Plus Super Top-up Plan

    Bajaj Allianz health Super top-up policy covers the following medical expenses:

    • The policy covers maternity expenses including maternity-related complications
    • Ambulance expenses can be claimed up to a maximum of Rs 3000
    • Robotic surgeries, deep brain stimulation, bronchial thermoplasty, stem cell therapy, oral chemotherapy, Intra vitreal injections, etc. are paid under this Super top-up plan
    • Maternity expenses up to a maximum of Rs 3000 are payable under Bajaj Allianz super top-up health plan
    • You can also file a claim for organ donor expenses
    • Moreover, optional air ambulance cover is also provided

    Exclusions under Bajaj Allianz Extra Care Top-up and Extra Care plus Super Top-up Plan

    The following medical expenses are not covered under the Bajaj Allianz Top-up and Super top-up health plans:

    • New-born child care expenses
    • Dental treatment or surgery
    • Custodial Care or personal Care and rehabilitation-related expenses
    • Surgical treatments related to obesity and overweight
    • Cosmetic or plastic surgery-related expenses
    • Injuries sustained due to hazardous or adventure sports
    • Treatments using lasers such as eyesight correction 
    • Treatments related to alcoholism, drug abuse, and health consequences related to it
    • Treatments related to fertility and sterility.
