This service allows vehicle owners to update their residential address on the vehicle RC within 14 days of an address change. It is especially useful when you are relocating to a new city or state, ensuring that official records remain accurate and up to date. You must submit the RTO Form 33 along with all the required documents to get the address changed.
This option is specifically designed for vehicles used by diplomatic officials and embassies. It helps manage registration and compliance requirements under special government provisions applicable to diplomatic vehicles.
If your original registration certificate is lost, mutilated, torn, or stolen, you can apply for a duplicate RC online through the Parivahan portal. To apply for the same, you need Form 26 along with the PUCC, police report, insurance copy, etc.
This service is used to add or remove hypothecation details to your RC when a vehicle is purchased using a loan. It officially records the financier's interest in the vehicle until the loan is repaid. Once the vehicle loan is fully repaid, you can remove the hypothecation details from the RC. It confirms that the vehicle is no longer under any financial obligation.
Vehicle dealers can use this service to obtain a duplicate trade certificate if the original document is lost or damaged. You can apply for the same using Form 18 and pay the required fee to apply for the same.
An NOC is required when you are selling your vehicle from one state to another. This service helps generate the certificate digitally, confirming that there are no pending dues or legal issues.
This service allows users to convert a temporary registration certificate into a permanent one. This is mandatory to legally operate a vehicle on public roads in India and can be done within 30 days of purchasing a new vehicle. You can do the same using Form 20 before the temporary registration expires, and confirm details such as hypothecation, registration number type, and HSRP/smart card requirements at the registered RTO.
In certain cases, users may need to reassign their vehicle registration number if a motor vehicle has been relocated to a different state (other than the one where it was registered), for a period exceeding twelve months. It is important to apply using Form 27, as it will help you get a registration number for your vehicle in the new state.
