Why is it worth?
|
You pay Rs. 1499 for 12 months of roadside assistance. Its very easy to understand
why this assistance program is worth
Let us consider a few benefits and analyse these.
- FREE towing to the nearest preferred workshop – On an average a towing to the nearest
workshop costs anywhere upwards of Rs. 1500. Add to that finding the number of a
towing agency, calling them and being at the receiving end of their nakhras. If
you have seen a vehicle towed earlier, you know what happens to the bumper and the
damage caused to the vehicle overall. More than that, it feels bad that MY CAR is
being handled this way! This is a snapshot of how we do it. Should we explain anything
more?
- Roadside repair in case of electrical/mechanical breakdown – You call
us and we send our motorbike and resting car team to the spot. Till you get refreshed
in the resting car (typically a A/C Maruti Versa), drink bottled water and call
up to indicate your delay to your loved ones and be comfortable, the team will repair
your car and hand it over to you.
- Onward journey and accommodation co-ordination
– Suppose you are travelling from Delhi to Jaipur, say 40 kms from Jaipur. Your car
breaks down and it could take 3 hours to repair. Its very urgent to reach Jaipur.
We will co-ordinate a taxi for you free of cost so that you reach Jaipur at the
earliest. We also have tie-ups with hotels, and will be happy to co-ordinate your
stay at any hotel that you would prefer.
- Other assistances – Such as Tyre related problems, lost-key assistance, battery
related assistance (jump start etc.) or even Fuel assistance in case your vehicle
runs out of fuel.
Apart from these, consider this. All you have to do is make a phone call and place
a request. We take care of everything, right from co-ordination to repair to you
being secure and comfortable.
A last true incident – A person had bought the Roadside assistance for his vehicle.
One night, his wife was travelling in her car (only his car was covered, not her)
and faced a breakdown on the highway, no lights, nothing. She called us, and despite of not being our customer, we rushed to the spot to help her. She was delighted and
has been with us ever since !

How do I book PolicyBazaar 24x7 Roadside Assistance?
Fill in your basic car details, your contact details. You can pay one time charges of
Rs. 1499 (plus service tax), and from the next day you are covered. Please click here to book.
Do I get any documentation?
Yes, we will provide you with a unique Reference Number and a assistance bond via email.
Are there any constraints or restrictions on the service?
Currently, we are not offering the roadside assistance for a vehicle more than 5 yrs old.
Such vehicles have their special needs and we are devising a different plan for such
vehicles.
Also, we are offering this service only for private non-commercial vehicles.
This service is not for commercial vehicles.
How do I get your help?

I wish to cancel a booking I made with you.
If you have made a booking with us, and need to cancel, this is what you do
Please send a request of cancellation to us at complaints@policybazaar.com, quote your reference number, and the reason you wish to cancel. We may levy cancellation charges as follows:
1. In case you have no used the service even once: 2.5% charges will be deducted for payment gateway and administration fees. The remaining amount will be reimbursed to you on a pro-rata basis. Thus if you do not use the service even once, and cancel after 3 months of the start date, we will refund you the entire amount less 2.5% less 25% (3 months / 12 months) of the fees.
2. In case you have used the service at least once: We will not cancel the booking and you may not get any refund for the same. This is Irrespective of the service you have requested for.
What if I have a complaint.
Please write in to us at complaints@policybazaar.com describing the nature of the complaint. We assure you a fair agreement and solution over the complaint.
