- Pre-existing diseases: The insurer does not cover any claims arising out of a pre-existing medical condition, even if it has been declared
- Addiction: Any treatment expenses arising due to addiction to drugs and alcohol will not be covered by ICICI Lombard Travel Insurance
- The insurer will not pay for the treatment expenses incurred due to mental disorder, depression or anxiety
- It does not cover any claims arising due to venereal diseases
