• Maternity insurance benefits for 2 deliveries only
• In-patient hospitalization cover, Room, boarding, and nursing expenses if it is for a minimum period of 24 hours.
• Ambulance cover up to the specified limit
• If any checkups are required to assure the health of the fetus, they are also given a cover up to Rs. 1000 per test.
• Coverage for prenatal and post-natal expenses
• It is advisable that you buy this policy 3 years in advance, as you can only get benefits after 36 months of the waiting period. And your second delivery will be covered after a waiting period of 2 years.

Exclusions of Star Wedding Gift Health Insurance Policy

• Dental treatment or surgery (excluding accidental damages)
• Pre-existing illnesses before the completion of the waiting period
• Claims arising for illnesses diagnosed within the 30-days of policy purchase
• Injury due to nuclear weapons and war material, criminal intent and breach of law.
• Unproven treatments and gender change surgeries

Cancellation

Wedding Gift health plan can be cancelled by sending a written notification to the insurer by giving a 15 days’ notice and the refund will be initiated as per the limits mentioned in the policy wording.
