      How to Pay Jammu and Kashmir Road Tax Online?

      Paying your tax in J&K is streamlined through the central Parivahan system:

      • Go to the Parivahan Sewa website.
      • Navigate to 'Online Services' and then 'Vehicle Related Services'.
      • Choose the state as 'Jammu and Kashmir' from the available options.
      • Select your specific RTO (e.g., Jammu, Srinagar, Anantnag, Udhampur) and tap 'Proceed'.
      • Go to the page for 'Pay Your Tax'.
      • Insert your vehicle registration number and the last five digits of the chassis number.
      • Pay via net banking, UPI, or credit/debit card and print the receipt.

      You can pay your road tax amount in Jammu and Kashmir both online (Parivahan Sewa) and offline (RTO).       You will be charged a penalty if you do not pay your J&K road tax on time. The monthly penalty charged is 2% on the pending road tax amount.
