      Commercial vehicles in Punjab are taxed based on their seating capacity (passenger vehicles) and Gross Vehicle Weight (goods-carrying vehicles).

      How to Pay Punjab Road Tax Online?

      You can pay the Punjab road tax online through the Parivahan Sewa portal using the steps mentioned below:

      • Go to the Parivahan Sewa official website.
      • Tap on 'Online Services', and then click 'Vehicle Related Services'.
      • Select 'Punjab' from the list of states available.
      • Type in the vehicle registration number and select an RTO.
      • Tap 'Pay Your Tax' for the next page.
      • Type the required vehicle registration details and verify.
      • Pay the Punjab road tax fee via one of the given payment modes.
      • Save and download the e-receipt for your reference.

      How to Pay Punjab Road Tax Offline?

      These are the steps for making a road tax payment in Punjab offline:

      • Go to the local Regional Transport Authority (RTO) where your vehicle is registered.
