Evidence that you have the financial means to spend EUR 6,079.45 every year or EUR 506.62 every month during the intended stay. This includes:

• A bank statement (stamped and signed) from the last 6 months.
• Documents proving income.
• If applicable, a sponsor's bank statement, ID proof, sponsorship letter, and proof of the sponsor's financial background.

Travel Medical Insurance for Italy

Insurance of a minimum of EUR 30,000, which should be valid for the initial 6 months spent in the country. It should give repatriation coverage. Students can buy good student travel insurance for Italy to get the necessary coverage.

Step 5: Schedule your Italy Visa Appointment: You can book an appointment at your nearest VFS Global visa application centre via their website or, alternatively, at the Consulate of Italy in India. To get an appointment at the embassy, send an email request.

Step 6: Attend the Visa Appointment: Visit the designated location to provide biometric data, including fingerprints and photographs.

Step 7: Await Processing: Once your appointment is complete, wait for the processing of your visa application.

Step 8: Convert your National Visa to a Residence Permit: Complete this process within 8 days of your arrival in Italy. The duration of the permit will be the same as your visa.
