Income Requirements | You must meet the financial requirements known as the "study norm," which reflects the living costs for Dutch students. This amount is updated annually on January 1st. Currently, the following amounts are notified. For university students: EUR 1217.96 per month Secondary/Senior Secondary Education: EUR 1029.55 per month. |
Proof of Sufficient Income | Demonstrate sufficient funds through various means, including: 1. Personal bank accounts with funds. 2. Scholarships. 3. Company funds, or 4. Financial support from abroad or within the Netherlands. 5. Documents must be in Dutch, English, German, or French, or translated accordingly. |
Academic Progress | You need to achieve at least 50% of your study credits annually. Your institution will monitor and report your academic progress. Failure to make adequate progress without a valid reason may result in deregistration by the institution. |
