On Arrival in Thailand
- Once you reach the airport and have booked a tour package, check your travel vouchers the gate number should be mentioned on it
- For Seat-in coach transfers, it is important to be on time. In case you are late, you will have to wait for the next coach to get the seat. The shuttle usually starts at 8 am in the morning in Bangkok and runs every two hours+ till 6 pm. Whereas in Phuket, it runs from 8 am to 5 pm
- There is no time slot for private transfers. However, make sure that you are on time. It usually starts from 5 am to 11 pm. So, if you reach before 5 am, you might have to take a cab on your own
- Your voucher would also include an emergency contact number in case your driver doesn’t arrive for pickup. Always try and opt for an English speaking driver. You can even call your travel agent in case you are not able to contact your cabby
- Once you reach your hotel, you can verify your travel vouchers with a local guide to avoid any miscommunication, regarding the inclusions and the activities
- If it your anniversary or you are on your honeymoon then it’s always better to inform your hotel staff. If you are lucky they can offer your complimentary special services such as event passes, candle-light dinner, or room decoration, etc.

- For shorter distances, Tuk-tuks are the best. Rickshaws are also there but Tuk-tuks are comparatively cheaper and easy to get. If you are going along with other people it will only cost of 10 Baht for a single ride
