Braking & Handling:

With a wet curb weight of 194kg, Hypermotard is a light for its size. The bike handles like a tall street bike. You can carve corners on the mountains, ride fast on highways, cut through traffic you name it. With no shield or fairing to protect you however, you can feel the speeds first hand. Bike has 50mm upside down telescopic forks in the front & Ohlin’s mono shock absorber at the rear. It rides on 120/70 17’ front & 180/55 17’ rear wheels.

  • The seating position on Hypermotard is very comfortable with upright stance.
  • Hypermotard gets a Twin 320mm disc brakes in front & a single 245mm disc at the rear.
  • The bike gets ABS & Ducati Traction Control as standard.

What Insurance cover to opt for:

Hypermotard is a premium product brought in as a CBU from Ducati’s factory at Thailand & that makes it a costly bike to keep & maintain.

  • A premium product like this needs 0% depreciation insurance as it goes a long way in keeping the repair bills down in case of a fall.
  • It is a good idea to have an insurance that gives you complete cover from theft as a premium is a thief magnet.
  • Always prefer an insurance that gives you cashless benefit.
