You need to pay an application fee of SGD 35 to apply for a Singapore work permit. Your employer will apply and pay for your work permit. These are the types of Singapore work passes available for Indians:

Indians are eligible for a 96-hour visa-free transit through Singapore. You must depart Singapore by air or sea, irrespective of the transport medium you have used to enter. In addition, you must have a valid cruise/ferry/air ticket to avail this facility.
You can submit an application for the extension of your short-term stay pass (STVP) online on the official website of the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA). If you want to extend your stay beyond the standard specified period in Singapore, you must pay the given extension fee to the consulate or embassy:
