Anyone interested to buy Max Bupa Money Savers Family Floater policy will get coverage from Rs 10.5 lakh-Rs. 1 Crore. The policy provides the following essential coverage:

  • In-patient Hospitalization Treatment: The Max Bupa Money Savers Family Floater covers all hospitalization expenses in the network hospitals.
  • Pre-Hospitalization: Online Max Bupa Money Savers Health Insurance policy covers expenses for a maximum of 30 days before hospitalization up to the defined limit.
  • Post- Hospitalization: The coverage is provided for all hospital-related expenses up to 60 days after hospitalization up to the defined sum insured.
  • Road Ambulance: The policy covers the expenses of the ambulance after the acceptance of the in-patient claim.
  • Hospital Accommodation: The policyholder can claim all hospital accommodations for a single room with no room rent capping.
  • Organ Transplant: Members can avail of medical expenses for an organ donor and cover in-patient treatment expenses for the same.
  • Home Care treatment: If a member undergoes treatment at home due to unavailability of bed or the doctor's advice, this policy will reimburse all the expenses.

  • Depending on the base sum insured, the policyholder can get coverage against illnesses like cancer, kidney failure, etc.
  • Policyholders can avail of pharmacy and diagnostic services through service providers on the Max Bupa Health panel.
  • Provision for unlimited telephonic or online consultations is also provided.

Exclusions of the Plan

Max Bupa Money Savers Insurance policy excludes some diseases and conditions from its list of coverage. They are:

  • Any claim arising within the initial 30 days of the policy period, unless it is an accidental claim
  • Injuries from hazardous activities or adventure sports
  • Injuries and ailment due to war, riots, terrorist activities, or unlawful and criminal activities
  • Due to alcohol and drug abuse
  • Behavioral, Neurodevelopmental and Neurodegenerative disorders
  • Obesity and weight control programs
