  • You can reach the desert in an hour drive from Dubai. It's best to book a good desert safari while you're planning your vacation, as these activities are always in demand and you may get a discount for booking early.
  • Your desert safari is likely to include camel-rides, dune-bashing, a meal and perhaps a show. You will also get a lot of pictures taken with the beautiful desert as your backdrop, so don't forget to dress up!

Some Tips for Planning Your Dubai Itinerary

  • Indians can apply for a Dubai visa via airlines or other approved travel partners for their tourist visas.
  • If you have friends or relatives in UAE, they can also apply for a visa on your behalf, however this is subject to some guidelines.
  • If you’re carrying cash, ensure that you declare it if it exceeds USD 5,000.
  • Make sure to buy a suitable travel insurance from India as soon as you’re done booking flight and accommodation. It will protect you from any drastic financial loss while you’re on your vacation
  • Don't carry anything illegal like recreational drugs, or artwork hurting religious sentiments. You should also carry your doctor's prescription in case your drug may not be easily available in Dubai.
