While a transit visa is non-extendable, Indian travellers can extend their Sri Lanka tourist and business ETA visa by paying additional fees. Here are the visa extension fees you must pay:

The Sri Lanka Immigration Department will not issue any refunds if the visa application is already processed or in progress. However, in case you want to cancel the visa application, you must contact the Immigration Service Centre (IMC) immediately to avoid paying unnecessary charges.
Currently, Indians can travel to Sri Lanka visa-free for a single-entry stay of up to 30 days. However, you must acquire an ETA visa online before you begin your Sri Lanka trip. Please note that you can pay the Sri Lanka visa fee in the designated foreign currencies equivalent to US Dollars at the Bandaranaike International Airport and the balance amount in Sri Lankan Rupees only.
