This plan has been created to cover a person's entire family including their spouse and two children under the age of 21 years. The policy cannot be bought for Mansarovar yatra or any other pilgrimage. The policy provides a range of benefits including compensation in case of personal accident, medical expenses and evacuation, passport loss, trip delays, home burglary insurance, and more.

This Bajaj Allianz family travel insurance plan is available in the following variants with different sum insured and coverage options:

• Bajaj Allianz Travel Companion Plan 50,000
• Bajaj Allianz Travel Elite Plan
• Bajaj Allianz Travel Prime Family Plan
  • Standard Plan with SI up to 50,000 USD
  • Silver with SI up to 1 lakh USD

Please note that this floater policy can be purchased by people up to 60 years for which 2 additional members can be added at the maximum. The additional premium shall be charged for extra members.

In case of early before the expiry of the policy period premium is refundable subject to certain deduction. The insured is expected to email the insurer requesting the cancellation of their policy with proper details like policy number, reasons, etc. There will be a cancellation charge accordingly.

Inclusions under the Bajaj Allianz Family Travel Insurance

Different variants of this Bajaj Allianz family travel plan offer a lot of coverage benefits. Some of those inclusions are given below:

• Personal Accident: You will be provided cover for any total disability or death due to an accident. However, this is not available on a floater basis.
• Emergency Dental Pain Relief: The policy will provide compensation up to USD 500 in case of sudden dental pain.
• Loss of Checked Baggage: The insurer will cover complete loss or destruction of the baggage of the insured
• Accidental Death and Disability: The insurer will provide cover in case of any accidental bodily injury while traveling in rail, bus, tram abroad.
• Passport Loss Cover: In case of losing a passport overseas, the insurer will provide the expense for obtaining a duplicate passport.
• Personal Liability: In case of damage to any third party claims abroad, the insurer will provide cover up to the stated sum in the policy.
• Daily Allowance: In case of hospitalization abroad, the insurer will extend the daily allowance benefit.
• Trip Cancellation: The policy will cover losses incurred due to cancellation of personal accommodation or flight which are not recoverable by any other sources in case of unavoidable cancelations.
• Home Burglary Insurance: While the insured is abroad, the policy will cover any loss incurred due to actual or attempted burglary in their home back in India.

Exclusions under the Bajaj Allianz Family Travel Insurance

In some circumstances, this Bajaj Allianz family travel plan will not provide any cover or reimbursement:

• Claims arising due to pre-existing illness
• If traveling against the advice of the attending physician
• Any medical expenses arising after the expiration of the policy period
• The insurer will not pay for any routine checkups or other physical examinations if there is no impairment in the insured's person health
• Loss due to venereal disease or alcoholism or any form of drug abuse
• Claims arising in case of any deliberate criminal, malicious or unlawful activity
• Complications arising due to pregnancy, childbirth, etc
• Medical expenses incurred due to self-inflicted injuries attempts to suicide, etc
• Any delay in departure caused by a strike or a known industrial action
• Claims arising due to participation in any military, air force, or naval operations
• The loss suffered due to ionizing radiation from any nuclear waste or radioactivity
• Loss of Passport due to confiscation by the customs or police or other authority

Bajaj Allianz Family Travel Insurance Eligibility Criteria

Any Indian citizen who has a valid Indian passport can purchase this policy for a trip not exceeding 60 days.

The entry age of the proposer is 6 months in the case of children and 60 years for adults. The dependent children should be below 21 years.
