Star Health Family Travel Protect Insurance Policy
This travel plan takes care of the health of your family, so that you enjoy while on an overseas trip.
Plan Benefits:
- Emergency medical, transportation back to India, dental emergency expenses following an accident, compensation following accidental injuries.
- Expenses incurred for obtaining new passport or other documents.
- Delay in flight or missed departure/connection, situation involving hijack distress
- Expenses on emergency purchases of consumables due to any delay in handling checked in baggage by the carrier for more than 12 hours
- Pecuniary loss on cancellation of trip due to any accidental injury/death of family members.
- Any Legal Liability burdened upon you due to causing bodily injury or property damage to any third party.
Explore Types of Travel Insurance
Eligibility:
- Mnimum age-6 months and maximum age of 60 years and travelling abroad with the purpose of a holiday.
- Additional children coverage on extra premium of 25% up to a maximum of 2 children.
Additional benefits:
- Maximum of 2 extensions are possible each up to 60 days including original trip days.
Exclusions:
- Travel against medical advice
- Pre-existing condition or disease and subsequent treatment
- Travel for medical condition.
- Risk sports such as rock climbing, mountaineering, winter sports, skiing.
- Self-inflicted injuries, suicide, mental disorder, intentional involvement in dangerous situations.
- Expenses due to pregnancy, congenital diseases.
