      How PM-JAY Works in Chandigarh

As a Union Territory, Chandigarh’s PM-JAY implementation is 100% funded by the Central Government , unlike other states, which share costs on a 60:40 basis. The scheme is administered by the Chandigarh Administration’s Department of Health in accordance with the national framework established by the National Health Authority (NHA).

As Chandigarh is a single-district Union Territory, checking the empanelled hospital list becomes more convenient as beneficiaries can simply select "Chandigarh" on the national hospital portal without filtering further.
