      Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme: Rajasthan

      Under the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme, the Rajasthan government offers cashless medical insurance of up to Rs 10 lakh. This Universal health scheme is available to all the families of Rajasthan from May 01, 2021.

      Shri Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan Chief Minister had announced this health insurance scheme during State Budget 2021-22. With this scheme, Rajasthan becomes the first state in India to provide universal insurance cover to all the people. So far, more than 12 lakh people have availed free medical treatment under the scheme.

      According to the latest budget announcement, the annual medical coverage amount has been increased from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh with an additional accident cover worth Rs 5 lakh. Expensive treatments like heart transplants, liver transplants, bone marrow transplants and cochlear implants have been added to the scheme.

      Every family in Rajasthan is now eligible for free cashless treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh. While the SECC 2011 beneficiaries are no longer required to register for the scheme, other beneficiaries, including contract workers and small & marginal farmers, can register on the E-Mitra. The insurance premiums for all beneficiaries will be paid by the government.

      However, all families apart from the beneficiaries will have to pay an annual premium of Rs 850. Moreover, women heads of families covered under the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance scheme will now be given smartphones with free internet connectivity for 3 years.

      The last date of registration for this scheme is May 31, 2022. All those who are eligible can apply for this scheme online before the last date.

      Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Yojana Rajasthan 2021

      CM Ashok Gehlot Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Scheme benefits commenced on May 1, 2021. To register, you can visit sso.rajasthan.gov.in. Eligible family members need to fill out the application with all the required details. Do not leave the required columns blank.

      Remember, based on your detailed information, your enrollment will be done under the CM Chiranjeevi Yojana scheme.

      Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme Eligibility Criteria

      The main eligibility criterion is to be a permanent resident of the Rajasthan state. Here are some of the pointers that need to be considered:

      • Health insurance financial cover is up to Rs 10 lakh
      • Accident cover is up to Rs 5 lakh
      • All families applying for this scheme need to pay only Rs 850 yearly to avail the coverage benefits, excluding the scheme beneficiaries.
      • Families can be covered by simply applying for it online

      The Chiranjeevi Yojana will provide medical financial assistance to all the residents of Rajasthan. Check out the benefits of this scheme, which are given as follows:

      • This is the first health insurance initiative from the Rajasthan Government that gives cashless treatment in the registered hospitals
      • Chiranjeevi Yojana covers 1576 medical tests and more
      • Coverage for various other diseases is also provided
      • The cost of tests, medical expenses, and a related package of 15 days after getting discharged from the hospital is also covered under the scheme

      Salient features of Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme

      The features of the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme are given below:

      • Health insurance cover is provided to all the families under Below-Poverty Line, NFSA, and SECC categories
      • Beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Mahatma Gandhi Rajasthan Swasthya Bima Yojana can also get covered under the scheme
      • Small/marginal farmers and Contractual workers can also get covered free of cost
      • Families not who do not fall under the eligible category can also get insured by paying a nominal premium of Rs 850 yearly
      • The scheme has a budget of around Rs 3,500 Crore
      • In addition to the major illnesses, the scheme also provides coverage for Covid-19 care and hemodialysis for the poor

      How to Register for CM Chiranjeevi Yojana 2021?

      You can register under this scheme to get medical treatment in Government and affiliated Private cashless hospitals. Below are the steps that you can follow to register online for this scheme at SSO Portal sso.rajasthan.gov.in:

      • You need to first visit the website i.e. v sso.rajasthan.gov.in
      • After that, you need to register first on this website
      • By filling the registration form and submit it successfully you will get the credentials
      • Now with that Log In Id and password you can access information on the website anytime
      • By using user Id and Password, open the dashboard
      • Click on the application form of insurance policy and start filling it
      • After submitting it you can take a Xerox copy of it

      How to apply online for CM Health Insurance Scheme 2021?

      To apply online for Rajasthan Swasthya Bima Yojana Online, the steps for existing users are given below:

      • Login using your user Id and password, in case you have forgotten it, you can retrieve it
      • Add the required details
      • Open the dashboard
      • Start filling the online health insurance scheme form SSO ID
      • After that tap the submit button
      • Take a screenshot or print out of the application form

      How to check the Status of Rajasthan Swasthya Bima Yojana Online?

      After you have submitted the application form for Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Yojana, it will be assessed by the authorities.

      • The details in the form will be cross verified and once it’s done you will receive a link of status, which will get activated in your dashboard
      • Using this link you will be able to find you are on which stage of the process
      • In case of rejection, you will get a notification on your Status
      • You as an applicant need to check online health.rajasthan.gov.in to check your status
      • The scheme does not cover State and central government employees, but the government is planning to start the RHGS cashless hospital service soon
