• Visa Services: The embassy issues Hungary short-stay visas and D-type long-term residence permits based on the purpose and duration of stay, including employment, studies, family reunification, and more.
• Registration of Birth: Hungarian citizens can register a child born outside Hungary through the Consular Section. Passport applications can be submitted simultaneously. Processing time is typically 2–4 months, though delays are possible.
• Registration of Marriages: Marriages of Hungarian citizens conducted in India should be registered at the embassy. Applications may be submitted at the register offices in Hungary or through the Embassy’s Consular Section.
• Legalisation Services: Legalisation of signatures, translations, and copies of original documents is available upon presentation of the original documents.
• Police Clearance Certificate: Issued by the Criminal Records Authority based on the Criminal Records Register to confirm good conduct for legal or employment purposes. This certificate does not include data from the Offence Register.

Do You Need Hungary Travel Insurance?
