    The Star Student Travel Protect Insurance Policy is a customised travel insurance plan made to cover Indians travelling abroad to study in a foreign educational institution. It provides insured students against emergency medical expenses, personal accident, sponsor protection, dental emergency expenses, study interruption, bail bond, repatriation of mortal remains, etc.
    The plan comes with three variants:

    • Standard
    It is available to Indian students aged 15-40 years who have accepted admission in an accredited foreign institute.
  • 2. Star Travel Protect Insurance Policy

    The Star Travel Protect Insurance policy provides financial protection to individuals and families travelling abroad for the purpose of visiting friends/families or for leisure. It provides coverage for medical expenses, loss of check-in baggage, dental emergency expenses, passport loss, repatriation of mortal remains, hijack distress allowance, personal liability, etc. The plan is available in two variants:
    • Travel Worldwide - Including USA & Canada
    • Travel Worldwide - Excluding USA & Canada
  • 3. Star Corporate Travel Protect Insurance Policy

    The Star Corporate Travel Protect Insurance policy covers employees and people going abroad for business meetings, conferences and other business purposes. It provides coverage against personal accident, emergency medical expenses, missed connection flight, loss of passport, flight delay, delay in check-in baggage, deputation of substitute employee, etc. It’s available in various plan options with sum insured ranging from USD 1,00,000 to 5,00,000.
    The plan is issued for a tenure of one year with maximum coverage of 180 days. However, a single trip of the insured must not exceed 30/45 days as chosen at the time of buying the policy.
  • 4. Star Domestic Travel Insurance Policy

    This Star travel insurance plan has been designed to protect you while travelling in India. The Star domestic travel insurance policy protects you against travel inconveniences like loss or delay of checked-in baggage (air travel only), flight or rail delay, missed departure and trip curtailment. It also covers personal accident risk during the period of travel. It is available in the following variants:
    • Silver
    • Gold
    • Platinum
    These are available in sum insured ranging from INR 1,00,000 - INR 1,00,00,000.
