Claim Process of Bharti AXA Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy

Inform the Insurer

The first step is to inform your insurance company about an accident and provide all details about the location and time of the accident, nature of loss and damage, witnesses etc. To claim insurance, you can call on 1800-103-2292 or send an email regarding the claim process to or for any queries.

Lodging an FIR

The owner must file an FIR if there has been an incident involving the insured car. For minor incidents and scratches, no FIR is required. However, FIR is necessary for all major accidents as the claim process does not start until the insurer receives all the necessary details and documents. 

Visit of the Surveyor

After the registration of the claim, a survey of the damaged vehicle is conducted by the company. For an accurate claim settlement, the report of the surveyor is necessary.

Repair of the vehicle

Post survey, you can take your car for repair to the garage which comes under the network of the company or you can get your car transported there. The transportation expenses can be borne by the company.

Claim settlement

Under a cashless facility, the cost of repair will be paid by the insurance company; you don’t need to make any payments except compulsory or voluntary deductibles (if any). If the garage doesn’t come under the network of the company, you have to pay the cost of repair. After submitting the bills and relevant documents to the company under the reimbursement facility, you will be paid all expenses.
