Bharti AXA third-party car insurance helps you bear all such expenses that might arise from any unforeseen accidents causing an unplanned financial and legal burden for you.

Bharti AXA Third-Party Car Insurance vs. Comprehensive Car Insurance

Following are the differences between Bharti AXA third-party car insurance and comprehensive car insurance plan:

Third-Party Car Insurance

Comprehensive Car Insurance

Policy Coverage

Covers the legal and financial liabilities of the third party involved

Covers the damage caused not just to the third party but also to the policyholder

Nature of requirement

Mandatory by the legislation of the Indian Motor Vehicles Act, 1988

It is not mandatory to have a  comprehensive insurance policy but is recommended for complete protection while driving on the roads

Add-on coverage

Add-on coverage is not offered by third party insurance

Comprehensive car insurance plans offer a variety of add-on covers to be availed to enhance coverage

Most basic insurance plan one can buy in India, hence the cheapest too

Higher than third-party insurance plans
