      Coverage Under Shriram Standalone Own Damage Car Insurance

      • Losses arising as a result of fire or explosion are included
      • Damages sustained by the insured car due to natural calamities like hurricanes, typhoons, cyclones, etc
      • Damages arising as a result of manmade acts like riots and strikes
      • Partial or total loss of the insured car due to theft or burglary is covered under the policy
      • Damages caused to the insured vehicle as a result of external means such as a collision
      • Accidental damage sustained by the insured car when the driver was not carrying a driving license is not covered under the car insurance policy
      • Any accidental liability sustained by the insured vehicle outside the policy geographical area
