A third party EV policy covers a policyholder against third-party liabilities, such as injury, death, or property damages arising due to accidents involving the insured electric car. Tata AIG EV Insurance Premium Calculator

The IRDAI decides third party EV insurance premiums, which are based on the EV's battery capacity. Here are the rates:

Battery Capacity of the Electric Car Third Party Insurance Premiums
Below 30 KW Rs. 1,780 (approx)
Between 30 KW and 65 KW Rs. 2,904 (approx)
Above 65 KW Rs. 6,712 (approx)

*Disclaimer: (The premium prices mentioned above are set by IRDAI and may change based on recent updates and revisions. Always stay informed about these updates for the latest rates.)

To calculate the premium amount for a comprehensive EV policy, you can use the car insurance premium calculator before purchasing your desired electric car insurance plan. Alternatively, you can use the following formula to calculate your Tata AIG comprehensive EV insurance premium:

EV Insurance Premium = Own Damage Premium – (No claim bonus + discounts) + (Third Party Premium)
