Admission Requirements

Every year, the University of Chicago welcomes thousands of students from the different parts of the world. Admissions to the university are offered through a common application process. The application process at the University of Chicago is categorised into 3 parts:

  • First-year Applicants: The undergraduate admissions are done through QuestBridge Applicants, Home-Schooled Applicants, and International Applicants. The applicants may appear in the entrance exam in the Autumn Quarterly.
  • Transfer Applicants: This process is for those full-term students who have completed at least one term at another university and wish to get admission at Chicago University. Transfer students are allowed to enter the university in the Autumn Quarter.
