      The Royal Sundaram Third-Party insurance policy provides compensation for injuries made to a third-party person on a road accident, damage caused to third-party property, and unlimited liability cover in the situation of death to a third-party in an accident by the insured car. Here, damage to any third-party property is covered for up to Rs.7.5 lakh and there is no cap on the compensation amount when death or bodily injuries incurs to a third-party person.

      Exclusions of Royal Sundaram Third-Party Car Insurance

      The Royal Sundaram third-party car insurance policy provides the following coverage:

      • Own Vehicle Damage: Damages that are caused to your insured car in an accident on road.
      • Bodily Injury to Policyholder: Any bodily injury caused to the policyholder in a road accident is also not covered in a third-party car insurance policy offered by Royal Sundaram Third-Party car insurance plan.
      • Loss/ Damage to Insured Car: Damages or losses incurred to the insured car due to natural calamities or man-made disasters are also not covered in this plan.
      • Car Depreciation: Any depreciation to the insured four-wheeler is not covered in this policy.
      • Add-On Covers: This policy does not offer any add-on covers for expanding the coverage of the Royal Sundaram third-party car insurance policy.
      • Third-Party Liability Outside the Geographical Border: Any loss or damage incurred to the third-party vehicle by the insured car outside the geographical border of the country is not covered.
      • Regular Wear and Tear of the Insured Car: The Royal Sundaram Third-Party Car Insurance policy does not pay for any losses or damages incurred to the insured car due to regular wear and tear.
      • Consequential Losses to Insured Vehicle: It does not provide insurance coverage to the insured car for any consequential losses.
