Reliance General third-party car insurance provides cover for the loss or damage caused by the insured vehicle to the third-party vehicle as well as passengers. The insurance protects the third-party car insurance holder from the financial liability coming out of the property loss, injury, death, car damage, etc. Once you get covered with this insurance plan then you will not have to pay for the third-party liability out of pocket.
Reliance General Third-party insurance protects you from the following:
- The Reliance General third-party covers the injury as well as death of the third-party passenger caused by insured car in a road accident.
- Reliance General third-party car insurance protects the insured from personal accident
- Personal accident cover is provided to the owner/driver in the Reliance General third-party insurance.
- The policy also provides cover for the permanent disability caused to the third-party.
- Property damage cover up to Rs. 1 lakh is provided by the insurance company.
For injury, death and permanent disability caused by the insured car to the third-party in accident is insured that is compensated partially/fully. But the amount provided in compensation is decided by the court.
What Is Not Covered under Reliance General Third-party car insurance?
The exclusions of the Reliance General third-party car insurance are as follows:
- If the third-party car insurance policyholder is found drunken driving or under the influence of drugs then insurance company will not provide cover for the third-party loss or damage.
- The Reliance General third-party insurance does not cover own damages of the policyholder caused in an accident but the personal accident cover provides financial aid for the loss or damage up to Rs. 15 lakh.
- If the third-party car insurance policyholder found driving the car without license then the insurance company will not provide cover for the loss or damage caused to the third-party.
