Types of Zuno Claim Settlement Process

Zuno General Insurance Company offers two types of claim settlements to its policyholders. These include Cashless Claim Settlement and Reimbursement Claim Settlement. Let us understand these one by one:

    1. Cashless Claim Settlement Process

Under the cashless claim settlement process offered by Zuno car insurance, a policyholder can get his/her car repaired in an authorised network garage of Zuno General Insurance Company. Under this process, the policyholder will not be paying anything as the company will directly settle the claim with the network garage. Thus, giving a cashless claim settlement to the policyholder.

    2. Reimbursement Claim Settlement Process

In case a policyholder gets his/her four-wheeler repaired in a non-network garage, then his/her claim will be settled via a reimbursement claim settlement process. Under this process, the policyholder will make the payment of repair cost at the non-network garage, and the insurance company after complete verification will reimburse the claim amount to the policyholder.

How to File a Zuno Car Insurance Claim?

To file a comprehensive car insurance claim with the insurance company, simply follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Accidental Claims

Step 1: Notify your insurance company

The first step is to notify your insurance company about the damages sustained by your vehicle. Make sure to inform them within 48 hours of the accident.

Step 2: Take photos of the damage

Take photos of the damages sustained by your vehicle along with pictures of the accident spot. This is important as you may need to show it to the surveyor.

      Step 4: Damage Assessment

The insurance company after registering the claim will send a surveyor to assess the extent of damages sustained by your car.

Step 5: Submit the required documents

The surveyor will need certain documents to verify the Zuno car insurance claim. Make sure to submit all the required documents when asked.

Step 6: Get your four-wheeler repaired

Once the claim has been verified, the insured car can be taken to the network garage for repairs. Once the repairs are complete, the insurance company will directly settle the claim with the cashless garage. In case it's a reimbursement claim, the insurance company will reimburse you the claim amount after repairs.

    2. Third-Party Claims

      • If your car has met with an accident or caused injuries to a third person or damaged a third party property, immediately file an FIR at the nearest police station. Also, intimate your insurance company about the same.
      • All third-party claims are forwarded to the Motor Insurance Claim Tribunal for settlement.
      • After the third-party claim has been verified, the court will decide the compensation to be paid to the third person.
      • A similar process needs to be followed in case your car has been damaged or you have been injured by a third-party vehicle.
