What is not Covered under Oriental Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy?
Keep in mind the following events of exclusion while buying Oriental Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy:
- Damage caused by an insured vehicle while the driver is under the influence of Drugs/Alcohol
- Mechanical as well as an electronic breakdown of the vehicle
- No valid driving license was available at the time of the accident
- Damage caused due to general wear and tear and depreciation of the vehicle
- Damage caused due to nuclear/terrorist/war/mutiny risks
- Damage caused to the vehicle outside the geographical boundaries of India unless it is covered by paying the extra premium (Only applicable for Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal. Sri Lanka, and Maldives)

Claim Settlement Process under Oriental Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy
Follow these steps to make a quick and hassle-free claim with Oriental Insurance Company Ltd., in the case of an accident:
Step 1: Raise a Request for the Claim
Instantly inform Oriental Insurance Company about the accident by calling their toll-free number. You would need to send images of the damaged areas of your car to the insurance company using the registered email ID available in the policy document.
Step 2: Inspection
Once the request for the claim is registered, a surveyor will be sent by Oriental Insurance Company to examine inspect the damage. This is a mandatory step while claiming insurance.
Step 3: Sending Car for Repair
