What is Form 60?

Form 60 is a working certificate issued by an employer to confirm that an individual is employed with their organisation. It is mainly used when applying for a BH vehicle registration, where proof of employment is required. This document certifies that the employee has been working with the organisation since a specific date and that the company has offices in more than one state or UT. It is submitted with Form 27A, which is the application form for a BH number plate.

Who Issues Form 60?

Form 60 is issued by the employer or the organisation where the applicant is currently employed. The form is prepared on behalf of the company and signed by an authorised signatory, such as an HR representative or a senior official and is submitted at the respective Regional Transport Office (RTO).

When is Form 60 Required?

Form 60 is generally required when a person applies for a BH registration of a vehicle and has to prove their eligibility in terms of employment. It is applicable in situations when a person is a private employee and has to prove that their organisation is operating in four or more states/Union Territories. What Details are Included in Form 60?

• Employee Details, including name, parent's name, permanent address, date of joining, employee ID, UAN, contact number, email address, and PAN.
• Organisation Details, including name, registration number, GST number (if applicable), PAN, registered or corporate office address, official email ID, etc.
• Authorised Signatory Details, including name, address, mobile number, and email address.
• Declaration and Verification Details, including date of issuance, signatures (applicant and authorised signatory), and official seal of the organisation.

How to Download the Format of Form 60?

To download the format of Form 60, you need to follow the steps below:

• Step 1: Go to the official Parivahan Sewa portal.
• Step 2: Click on the 'Informational Services' menu at the top.
• Step 3: Click on the 'Downloadable Forms' option.
• Step 4: Find and click on the 'Form 60' link to download it in the PDF format.

How to Obtain Form 60?

The steps to obtain Form 60 are as follows:

• Step 1: Ensure that you are eligible for a BH (Bharat Series) registration.
• Step 2: You need to contact the HR department or any other authorised personnel of your company and request them to provide a working certificate in the prescribed Form 60 format.
• Step 3: Provide your employer with the necessary information, such as your employee ID, date of joining, PAN, contact details, and any other details required to fill the form accurately.
• Step 4: The organisation will draft Form 60, including company details and confirmation of its presence in multiple states/UTs.
• Step 5: The form must be signed by an authorised signatory and stamped with the official seal of the organisation.
