The Aventador accelerates from 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and is capable to touch a top speed of 350 kph (217 mph). Such a paramount speed can only be achieved with the help of the 7 speed ISR gearbox and its shifting time of 50 milliseconds only, which is incredible. Even being sports it is a fuel economic and in order reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions the Aventador has a cylinder deactivation and a start stop system with super capacitors. With this latest technology, the engine restart takes only 180 milliseconds which is way sooner than average time.
