If you have purchased a vehicle in Manipur and are planning to drive it in the state, it is mandatory for you to obtain a registration certificate from the concerned RTO office in Manipur. Here are the documents you will need for the same:

In case you have been issued a temporary certificate from your dealer, make sure to apply for permanent RC before your temporary RC expires i.e. 1 month.
Apply for a permanent registration certificate to the concerned registration authority within seven days of taking the delivery of such vehicle:
Fill up and submit Form 20 to the nearest RTO within 7 days of taking vehicle delivery
Submit other documents required by the authority
If the vehicle was hypothecated, refer to the process of hypothecation endorsement
Submit taxes and prescribed fees to the authority.
Once all the documents have been verified by the authority, a permanent registration number will be issued.
A vehicle’s registration certificate is valid for a period of 15 years after which a vehicle owner is required to renew it at least 60 days before the expiry of such registration. Here is how to renew a registration certificate in Manipur RTO:
