      Driving Without Insurance Fine in Jharkhand

      The Govt. of India has made it mandatory for every car owner in Jharkhand to own at least a third party insurance policy. Driving without insurance is a legal offence and entails heavy traffic fines. If caught by the traffic police, you will have to pay the following traffic fines:

      Documents Required for Permanent Registration in Jharkhand RTO

      The validity of a temporary RC is one month after which a vehicle owner is required to register his/her vehicle permanently. Thus, to obtain a permanent registration certificate, you will need the following documents:

      Form 20, 21 and 22

      Attested copy of valid vehicle insurance policy

      Attested copy of address proof

      Form 34 duly signed by the owner and financer

      Prescribed registration fee

      One-time road tax

      How to Get a Permanent Registration Certificate in Jharkhand?

      The process to get a permanent registration certificate in Jharkhand is as follows:

      Approach the RTO office of the vehicle

      Fill out the application Form 20, 21, 22 and submit it to the concerned authority

      Documents Required for Ownership Transfer

      A vehicle’s RC can be transferred in three major scenarios. These include the death of the owner, the sale of the vehicle or the sale in a public auction. The following documents are required for ownership transfer:

      RC in original

      Form 29 (attested one copy)

      Form 30 in duplicate

      Form 31 in duplicate

      Valid insurance policy (Attested copy)

      Address proof of the purchaser (Attested copy)

      Valid PUC certificate (Attested copy)

      Prescribed fee along with penalty

      Attested copy of PAN card/Form 60 & 61

      Original copy of death certificate of the registered owner

      Affidavit by the applicant and other legal heirs

      Verification of vehicle Form 20

      Succession certificate issued by SDM

      Sale certificate form 21 issued by the Auctioning Deptt (public auction)

      Certified copy of the order of the State or Central Govt (public auction)

      Application Form 32 (public auction)

      Applicable Road tax

      Applicable Registration/Re-registration fee
