Permanent registration is a mandatory requirement for every vehicle purchased to be driven in Jammu and Kashmir. To register a vehicle in JK RTO, first visit your nearest RTO office
Duly fill and submit the application in Form 20
Submit the rest of the forms and documents required by the RTO
Submit the prescribed fees and taxes if any,
A vehicle’s registration certificate is valid for 15 years after which a vehicle owner has to get it renewed before the expiry of its tenure.
