      How to Register a Vehicle in Delhi RTO?

      Follow the below-mentioned steps to register a vehicle in Delhi RTO:

      Visit your nearest RTO with your motor vehicle

      Fill in the application Form 20 for the Registration Certificate. 

      Submit all the aforementioned documents

      Pay the relevant registration fees as mentioned in Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1988

      How to Get a Permanent Registration Certificate in Delhi?

      Follow the steps given below to get a permanent RC for your vehicle from RTO Delhi:

      Fill in Form 20 and apply for permanent registration of your vehicle

      If you have temporarily registered the vehicle, then apply before the temporary registration expiry date

      Confirm the type of registration number you need

      Confirm smart card related requirements if applicable

      How to Renew Registration Certificate in Delhi RTO?

      A motor vehicle has to be registered for a period of 15 years after which its registration has to be renewed according to its roadworthiness. Following are the steps required to renew RC in Delhi RTO:

      Documents Required for Ownership Transfer

      Usually a vehicle’s ownership is transferred in three major scenarios. These include the death of the owner, theft of the vehicle, or during the normal sale of the vehicle. For transfer of ownership of a vehicle under the Delhi RTO, you will be required to submit the following documents:

      Surviving member certificate

      No Objection Certificate in the name of nominee
