How to Get a Permanent Registration Certificate in Tamil Nadu?

The application for a permanent registration certificate in Tamil Nadu should be made within 7 days of taking vehicle’s delivery. Follow these steps to apply for the same in Tamil Nadu RTO:

Fill up Form 20 and submit it to the nearest RTO

Submit the requiured document to the concerned authority

Submit the required fees and taxes

How to Renew Registration Certificate in Tamil Nadu RTO?

A vehicle owner must apply for renewal of RC after the completion of 15 years from original registration date. After these 15 years, the vehicle has to be renewed every five years depending upon its road-worthinesss.

Here is how to apply for renewal of RC in Tamil Nadu RTO:

Fill up the renewal application in Form 25 and submit it to the RTO

Pay the due taxes if any
