A temporary registration certificate is valid for 1 month, after which it is compulsory to get a permanent RC for a vehicle in Rajasthan. Given below are the documents required for availing permanent RC in Rajasthan RTO:

How to Get a Permanent Registration Certificate in Rajasthan?

To obtain a permanent certificate in Rajasthan, a vehicle owner must follow the steps mentioned below:

Approach the nearest Rajasthan RTO office

Fill out and submit Form 20 to the concerned authority

Make sure to submit all the other needed forms and documents to the RTO

Confirm the type of registration number you want (choice/fancy or general number)

Pay appropriate fees

Pay taxes as per Rajasthan Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1951

The permanent registration certificate of a private vehicle is valid for a period of 15 years. Thus, for continuous usage of an RC, a vehicle owner must apply for renewal of RC at the concerned RTO before 60 days of expiry. Here is the process to do the same:
