Documents Required for Permanent Registration in Telangana RTO

Obtaining a permanent RC in Telangana is a mandatory procedure as per the Telangana Motor Vehicles rules. Every vehicle that is driven in the state, must register itself under the Telangana RTO. Following are the documents needed for the same:

Form 22 (road-worthiness certificate)

Original sales certificate from the concerned Authorities in Form 21 in the case of ex-army Vehicle

How to Renew Registration Certificate in Telangana RTO?

The validity of a permanent registration certificate in Telangana is 15 years after which it has to be renewed every 5 years till the vehicle is found fit. Here are the steps to apply for renewal of RC in Telangana RTO:

Fill up the renewal application in Form 25 and submit it to the RTO

Submit the rest of the documents as required

Submit the prescribed renewal fees

The registering authority will then inspect the vehicle and once found fit, the RC will be renewed for 5 years. Also, make sure to apply for renewal 60 days before the expiry of the permanent RC.
