To register a vehicle, the owner needs to produce the following documents at concerned RTO along with the Form 20
1. Form No.21/Sales Certificate from the dealer
2. Form 22/ Roadworthiness certificate obtained from the manufacturer stating that the vehicle is in the compliance with the road safety norms

A temporary registration card can be obtained at the point of the dealer while purchasing a vehicle. In case a vehicle is purchased or sold, the ownership of the same has to be transferred to the buyer. This process is usually known as ‘RC Transfer’. All it takes is a duly filled application in Form no. 29 and submit along with the relevant documents to RTO Rajkot.
